He called the people Samahiji «that the Government take a decision to transfer to the outside, and treatment of severe bleeding that he suffered. According to what we know that it has no cure in Bahrain, and treatment requires the advent of a specialist from outside Bahrain, or move abroad for treatment, and we see that the second option the most appropriate and best, especially if what was in the hospital specializes in treating such cases ».

They pointed out that «the psychological condition of the doctor Samahiji deteriorating very, very small talk with us».

And the process scheduled to take place after the first operation carried out on the evening of last Wednesday (10 August / August 2011), seven or ten days, the people of Samahiji said that: «is scheduled to be a second operation tomorrow, but we do not even know now who is a doctor which will be the process. They pointed out that: «CT scan was done to the brain, we do not know the results of these rays so far».

Referred to the doctor detained in the prison of the dry dock, with the other medical staff, had taken to the military hospital at the beginning of suffering a health crisis, where he was suffering from headaches, and he underwent tests and CT scan imaging of the veins and blood CT.

استقرت الحالة الصحية للطبيب الموقوف سعيد السماهيجي، خلال اليومين الماضيين، بعد أن أجرى له الطبيب اللبناني جوزيف سلامة، عملية قسطرة في المخ، لوقف النزيف الحاد التي تعرض له السماهيجي، وهو في سجن الحوض الجاف يوم الثلثاء الماضي (9 أغسطس/ آب 2011).

وقال أهل الطبيب السماهيجي، إنهم زاروه في العناية المركزية بمجمع السلمانية الطبي، وكانت حالته مستقرة صحياً إلا أنها خطيرة، مبدين قلقهم من أن «تتطور الحالة الصحية للسماهيجي، ويصبح من الصعب علاجها، وخصوصاً أن درجة حرارته كانت مرتفعة جداً يوم أمس الاثنين (15 أغسطس الجاري)».

وطالب أهل السماهيجي «الحكومة بأن تتخذ قراراً بنقله إلى الخارج، وعلاجه من النزيف الحاد الذي تعرض له. وبحسب ما عرفنا أنه ليس له علاج في البحرين، وعلاجه يتطلب مجيء طبيب مختص من خارج البحرين، أو نقله إلى الخارج للعلاج، ونحن نرى أن الخيار الثاني أنسب وأفضل، وخصوصاً إذا ما كان في مستشفى متخصص في علاج مثل هذه الحالات».

وأشاروا إلى أن «الحالة النفسية للطبيب السماهيجي متدهورة جداً، وحديثه معنا قليل جداً».

وعن العملية المقرر إجراؤها بعد العملية الأولى التي أجريت مساء يوم الأربعاء الماضي (10 أغسطس/ آب 2011)، بسبعة أو عشرة أيام، ذكر أهل السماهيجي أنه: «من المقرر أن يتم إجراء العملية الثانية غداً، إلا أننا لا نعرف حتى الآن من هو الطبيب الذي سيجري العملية. وعلمنا بأنه إذا لم تكن هناك جدوى من عملية القسطرة الثانية، فسيتم عمل عملية جراحية لوقف النزيف وعلاج السماهيجي، وهذا ما نخشاه، لأن هذه العملية ستكون خطيرة جداً». ولفتوا إلى أنه: «تم عمل الأشعة المقطعية لمنطقة المخ، ولا نعرف نتائج هذه الأشعة حتى الآن».

يشار إلى أن الطبيب الموقوف في سجن الحوض الجاف، مع كوادر طبية أخرى، قد أخذ إلى المستشفى العسكري مع بداية تعرضه لأزمة صحية، حيث كان يعاني من صداع وقد أجريت له فحوصات وأشعة مقطعية وتصوير للأوردة الدموية بالأشعة المقطعية.

وبحسب بيان سابق لوزارة الصحة، على لسان مدير العلاقات العامة عبدالعزيز الرفاعي فإنه: «تم تشخيص الحالة بوجود ما يسمى «أم الدم» وتحدث هذه الحالة بسبب عيوب في الأوعية الدموية، وقد نقل على إثرها إلى مجمع السلمانية الطبي بصفته الجهة المختصة لمثل هذه الحالات، حيث تمت معاينته من قبل عدد من الاختصاصيين في هذا المجال بمن فيهم اختصاصيو الطوارئ وجراحة الأعصاب وأشعة المخ والحبل الشوكي والجراحة التداخلية».

وقال الرفاعي: «بحسب احتياجات العملية فقد وجد الفريق الطبي أن العلاج الأمثل لمثل هذه الحالات عمل جراحة تداخلية بواسطة القسطرة وليس بالجراحة المفتوحة للمخ. وعليه، فقد تم الترتيب بين اختصاصي أشعة المخ والجراحة التداخلية لاستقدام طبيب في الاختصاص ذاته من الخارج للمساعدة في إجراء العملية الجراحية»
